Welcome to Neutral Path. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services, including our website, carbon offset purchasing platform, and any related services provided by Neutral Path (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Overview of Services
Neutral Path facilitates the voluntary offsetting of greenhouse gas emissions by purchasing and surrendering Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) on behalf of individuals. We aim to make climate action accessible and transparent by sourcing high-integrity carbon offsets.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement under Australian law to use our services.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when using our services.
- Only use our services for lawful and personal offsetting purposes.
- Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt our services or systems.
Carbon Offset Purchases
When you purchase a carbon offset through Neutral Path:
- You authorize us to acquire and surrender ACCUs on your behalf.
- We will provide a digital certificate or record verifying your offset after surrender.
- Purchases are non-refundable once the surrender process is initiated.
We do not provide investment products. Our offsets are for environmental action only and do not represent any financial product or return.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are in AUD and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time but will honor the price confirmed at checkout for your purchase.
Accuracy of Information
While we make every effort to ensure information on our platform is accurate, Neutral Path does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of project descriptions, registry data, or third-party content.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Neutral Path website and associated materials (including logos, copy, and design) is the property of Neutral Path and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Neutral Path will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service.
Third-Party Services
We may link to or rely on third-party platforms (e.g., registries, payment processors). We are not responsible for the content or functionality of these services.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our operations.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Queensland.

We may update these Terms occasionally. You will be notified of significant changes via email or notice on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
